10-Day Itinerary
Welcome to Lima by our staff and transfer to the hotel to be accommodated. Overnight in Lima.

Flight to Cusco. Welcome to Cusco. In the afternoon (12:40 -18:00 hrs approx.) The city tour includes the Cathedral, the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), currently Convent of Santo Domingo. Then, the tour will include a visit 04 archaeological sites: the ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the religious center dedicated to the worship of the Earth of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara which was used as a center of military use, and control, and Tambomachay which was used as a center of worship and water worship.

Visit to the town of Pisac. It is known for its handicraft market and Inca archaeological sites where you can see an irrigation system, an astronomical observatory, the sundial or Intiwatana, and andenería. Local lunch included. After lunch, we visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo. Built during the Inca period as a fortified area that included a temple, terraces, and an urban sector. Two sectors can be distinguished, one linked to worship and religion; and the second set dedicated to housing.

Welcome to the Galapagos Islands!
Upon arrival at Baltra´s airport, your guide will pick you up from the airport and drive up to the ranch in the highlands to see giant tortoises in their native environment! Lunch in the ranch. Explore the Lava Tunnels and Twin Craters. Visit Charles Darwin Station which is a research center to learn about geology, climate, natural history, and the conservation of the Galapagos Islands.

The destination can be North Seymour, Santa Fe, Pinzon, or Floreana (the destination depends on the National Park availability). The activities will include hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and breathtaking sightseeing.

Ferry to Isabela from Santa Cruz (2 hours). Upon arrival, a guide will transfer you to your hotel. After lunch, you will visit “Las Tintoreras,” a chain of small islets full of the cove and hidden beaches. The islet of Tintoreras is situated in the south of Puerto Villamil. It has a bay where you can see sea lions, marine turtles, iguanas, manta rays, etc. In this crack, it is possible to see the sharks from Blanca Point swimming with the rest of the tropical fish and sea lions (snorkel).

Departure by boat to Cabo Rosa where lava flowed into the ocean and formed beautiful lava tunnels. There you will see penguins, blue-footed boobies, and sea turtles. You can see sharks, turtles, sea lions, rays, seahorses, and many tropical fish. The tour to Cabo Rosa lasts approximately 5 hours—speed boat to Santa Cruz.

Please consider that you need to arrive in Lima and depart from Quito or Guayaquil - Special dates: Rates do not apply for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Holy Week, and Inti Raymi. Please contact us for a quote.
- Important things to bring: Sun hat, hiking shorts or light full-length hiking pants, water shoes with non-slippery soles, sandals, windbreaker jacket, sunglasses, shorts, dress or skirt, bathing suit, thin and breathable socks, and hiking shoes. Small backpack, water bottle, ziplock, dry bag, waterproof see-through phone pouch, waterproof sunblock, binoculars, camera, device chargers, towel, sunglasses, and your passport.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, eat only peeled fruits, etc.)
- It is mandatory to have a valid travel passport (passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 6 months after the date you arrive) and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.

- Payments made will be subject to cancellation penalties.
- In addition to our cancellation penalties, all financial returns are subject to government taxes, credit card fees, and admin fees. These charges may add up to 10%.
- If a trip is canceled due to acts of God, war, strikes, political unrest, volcanic eruption, earthquake, flooding, tropical storms, global disasters, or any emergencies such as pandemics, epidemics, or other circumstances beyond the tour operator’s or guest’s reasonable control, Latin Adventures will maintain with the original payment and cancellation policies as mentioned in this document.
