ITINERARY
Pick you up from the airport in San Cristobal. After your lunch, with the guide, you will visit the Interpretation Center, where the guide will talk to you about the formation, colonization, and actual situation of the islands. Then you will follow the trail to the Frigate Bird Hill, a viewpoint from which you have a beautiful view over the island. You can snorkel the shallow waters of Tijeretas Bay or Carola Beach (according to the tide your guide will take you to the best spot), where you can see sea lions, various tropical fishes, and turtles

You will visit the famous Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido), a volcanic formation in the ocean. There you will be able to dive with sharks, rays, turtles, and if you are lucky with hammerhead sharks! After lunch on the boat, you will go to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you will have time to relax. In the afternoon you will be back at the port.

At 6:30 pick you up and take you to the harbor At 7:00 speedboat to Santa Cruz (approx. 2-hour ride). A local guide will receive you at the harbor. Your guide drives up to the ranch in the highlands to see giant tortoises Galapagos finches and other land animals and plants in their native habitat! Explore the Lava Tunnels and Twin Craters´ unique volcanic features of the Highlands

You will go by boat for 2 dives around Santa Cruz (the sites will be confirmed with your booking according to availability and according to your experience, as some sites are more technical than others).

You will take a small road 2,500 meters long up to the access to Tortuga Bay. Enjoy a 2-hour hike (both ways) up to this beautiful beach, which is perfectly preserved, with wild animals such as iguanas and beach crabs. Tortuga Bay is a white sand beach located on the south coast of the island of Santa Cruz., kayak is optional. After lunch, you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you will have the opportunity to learn about Galapagos conservation in action.

- Important things to bring: Sun Hat, hiking shorts or light full-length hiking pants, water shoes with non-slippery soles, sandals, windbreaker jacket, sunglasses, shorts, dress or skirt, bathing suit, thin and breathable socks, and hiking shoes. Small backpack, water bottle, ziplock, dry bag, waterproof see-through phone pouch, waterproof sunblock, binoculars, camera, device chargers, towel, sunglasses, and your passport.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precautions to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat street food, only eat peeled fruits, etc.)

- If a trip is canceled due to acts of God, war, strikes, political unrest, volcanic eruption, earthquake, flooding, tropical storms, global disasters, or any emergencies such as pandemics, epidemics, or other circumstances beyond the tour operator’s or guest’s reasonable control, Latin Adventures will maintain with the original payment and cancellation policies as mentioned in this document.
