Download BrochureDeparture from the hotel in Santa Cruz at 7:30 a.m. to board the yacht that will take you to Santa Fe island. With 24 Km2 and 60 meters above sea level, it is a unique place to visit for its amazing bay with turquoise water protected by a natural barrier of rocks, on which colonies are appreciated by sea lions and hawks flying over.
It is home to one of the endemic species of land iguanas of the islands, the Barrington land iguana, whose main food is the leaves and fruits of the large and thick cactus. Crabs, night herons, sea iguanas, mockingbirds, and ground doves are seen frequently.
Bay throughout its length and breadth, is excellent for swimming and snorkeling. Sea turtles, rays, wolves, fish, and clear and warm water are unique attractions. Lunch on board and transfer back to the hotel in Puerto Ayora.
