Santa Cruz Highlands in Galapagos
Pick up from your hotel at 8:30 am. You will take a small road 2,500 meters long up to the access to Tortuga Bay. Enjoy a 2-hour hike (both ways) up to this beautiful beach, which is perfectly preserved, and with the presence of wild animals such as iguanas, and beach crabs. Only swim in the mangrove that is separated from the beach.
Tortuga Bay is a white sand beach located on the south coast of the island of Santa Cruz.
The highlands of Santa Cruz are also a wonderful place to see the most iconic Galapagos species in the wild, the most notable of which is the Galapagos giant tortoise. Visit a giant Galapagos tortoise reserve, and marvel at these giant creatures as they peacefully roam around the private Galapagos farm.

After lunch on a local farm, you will enjoy Tortuga Bay beach. It is a beautiful beach of turquoise and crystal-clear water, subtle waves, and White sand. They welcome visitors who opt for a quiet day in contact with nature. It is an excellent place to dive, swim or relax and enjoy the sunny sky. Behind the beach is a lagoon where they can be found flamingos, black-necked ducklings, Galapagos finches, and migratory birds. Return to your hotel in Puerto Ayora.
